一、learn 动词。意思是“学习、学会、学到”。侧重学习的成果。指通过学习和练习或从经验中去获得知识和技巧，多用于学习的初级阶段。若是向某人学习要用learn from。learn和study有时可以换用。例如：
He is learning how to drive. 他在学开车。
We must learn how to operate the machine. 我们必须学会开机器。
It was only last winter that I learned to skate.就是在去年冬天我学会了滑冰。
Chairman Mao asked us to learn from Comrade Lei Feng in 1963. 毛主席在一九六三年号召我们向雷锋同志学习。
二、study 动词。意思是“学习、研究”。侧重学习的过程。例如：
She studied chemistry for three years. 她学习了三年的化学。
I will study the matter and give you my opinion.我要研究一下这事，然后再把我的建议给你。
