虽然三者都可以表示“花费”，但用法却不一样哦，这也是中高考的一大考点。
今天，知识君准备给大家辨析这三个易混淆单词的用法。
1. 动词cost的主要意思是“价钱为；需支付”，其主语是物体或某种活动。
常用结构：
sth. costs (sb.) +钱（或a lot…）
例句：
The trip will cost you $1000.
这趟旅游要花去你1000美元。
It costs a lot to buy a house in this part of Chengdu.
在成都这一地区买栋房子要花很多钱。
2. 动词spend的主要意思是“花（钱或时间）”，其主语必须是人。
常用结构：
spend time/money on sth.
spend time/money (in) doing sth.
例句：
She spends a lot of money on clothes.
她在衣服上开销很大。
I spent a lot of time cleaning that room.
我花了很长时间打扫那个房间。
3. 动词pay的常见意思是“付费；付款”。
常用结构：
pay (sb.) money for sth.
pay for sth.
We paid £35 for each ticket.
我们每张票付了35英镑。
Most of the money went to pay for the food and drink.
大部分的钱都花在了食物和饮料上面。
