●我居住在长江上游，你居住在长江下游。 天天想念你却见不到你，共同喝着长江的水。长江之水，悠悠东流，不知道什么时候才能休止，自己的相思离别之恨也不知道什么时候才能停歇。只希望你的心思像我的意念一样， 就一定不会辜负这互相思念的心意。
译成英文即是：
I live by the Yangzi River near its source.
While you reside farthest down its course.

7、《望天门山》——唐·李白
天门中断楚江开，碧水东流至此回。
两岸青山相对出，孤帆一片日边来。
●长江犹如一把巨斧一样，劈开了天门雄峰，碧绿的江水东流到此地后，回旋澎湃。两岸的青山相对着的美景，实在是难分高下，忽然，看到一叶孤舟悠悠的从天边过来。
英译版：
The Yangtze River is like a big axe.
Split the door of the heavenly gate.

8、《竹枝词》——唐·刘禹锡

●春天到了，山上的野桃花红艳艳的，开的正旺，蜀江的流水拍着旁边的悬崖峭壁。一位姑娘看见了，认为丈夫的喜爱如同这桃花转瞬即逝，而无限的忧愁就如这源源不断的江水。

Spring is here.
The wild peach blossoms on the hills are red.
The river is flowing,
and the water flowing from the Shu River is clapping the precipice beside it.
A girl saw it.
The love of a husband is like this peach blossom.

9、《春别曲》——唐·张籍
长江春水绿堪染，莲叶出水大如钱。
江头橘树君自种，那不长系木兰船。
●长江春水碧绿如染料，刚刚破出水面的点点荷叶只有铜钱大小。自己在那江头种下的橘树，也无法拴住将要远行的小舟。
英译版：
The spring water in the Yangtze River is as green as dyestuff.
The little lotus leaves that just broke the surface are only copper coins.
Orange trees planted on that river head.
There is no way to lock the boat that is going to travel.
10、《踏莎行》——宋·秦观
雾失楼台，月迷津渡。
桃源望断无寻处。
可堪孤馆闭春寒，杜鹃声里斜阳暮。
驿寄梅花，鱼传尺素。
砌成此恨无重数。
郴江幸自绕郴山，为谁流下潇湘去。
●雾迷蒙，楼台依稀难辨，月色朦胧，渡口也隐匿不见。望尽天涯，理想中的桃花源，无处觅寻。怎能忍受得了独居在孤寂的客馆，春寒料峭，斜阳西下，杜鹃声声哀鸣。
远方的友人的音信，寄来了温暖的关心和嘱咐，却平添了我深深的别恨离愁。郴江啊，你就绕着你的郴山流得了，为什么偏偏要流到潇湘去呢？
